About Free Cloud Zone
An independent, human-curated guide to what's actually free in the cloud.

Who we are
Free Cloud Zone is maintained by a small editorial team of developers who build side projects on free tiers — and got tired of stale "free forever" claims breaking their stacks. We're not an aggregated feed of marketing pages: every entry we publish has been checked against the provider's own pricing or documentation, and every correction we make is logged publicly.
What we do
- One place for all the data — hosting, compute, storage, databases, auth, email/SMS, messaging, CDN, and CI/CD free tiers in comparable tables with the same fields, so you can actually compare like-for-like instead of reading nine different pricing pages.
- Verified, dated entries — each row carries a ✓ verified stamp showing when it was last checked against the official source.
- Honest caveats — trial expiries, credit pools, spin-downs, "free but pauses" plans: we say so, because the gotcha is exactly where the value is.
- Guides that answer the real questions — "which is actually best for my stack" comparisons, not keyword soup.
How we stay independent
Free Cloud Zone is reader-supported and ad-free. Some provider links are affiliate links — if you sign up through them, we may earn a commission at no cost to you, which keeps the site running. Affiliate relationships never change an entry: tables are ordered by what's best for builders, not by who pays us, and our methodology is public so you can hold us to that.
Hold us accountable
Free tiers change constantly — sometimes pages lag reality by months. If a number here doesn't match what you see on a provider's official page, tell us at @FreeCloudZone on X. We verify, fix, and log it in the corrections changelog. Being wrong is human; staying wrong isn't.
